Farmer Day

Cows came to our school!

The kids voted on which cow they liked the best - the brown cow or the black and white cow.
We had so much fun dressing up as farmers!

Dr. Seuss Dress Up Day!

8 Cat in the Hats and 3 Things came to school yesterday! We had so much fun!

Centers

Here's a picture of some of our favorite centers lately. We work hard but we play hard too!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

Yesterday we got to mix red, yellow and blue icing to make fun colors for the cupcakes we baked to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday. I've never seen such colorful cupcakes!

We've also read lots of Dr. Seuss books, tasted green eggs and ham, and dressed up as our favorite Dr. Seuss characters.

Penny Cleaning

We have added a science center to our classroom! Last week our experiment was "Penny Cleaning." We tested four liquids to see which one would make a penny the shiniest - hot sauce, coke, ketchup, or vinegar. The result was the hot sauce! We love science!!

100th Day of School

I can't believe it's been 100 days! This year is flying by.
We had a great time counting our collections of 100 things, thinking about what we would buy with $100 and making 100th day hats.

Mittens

I've got a lot planned for the remainder of the year getting my friends ready for 1st grade. We are going to have so much fun the next couple of weeks learning about bears, pets and dental health. See you soon!
