Field Trip Tomorrow

Just a reminder that tomorrow, Thursday, September 23rd, is our field trip to Callaham Orchards. Please be at school no later than 8:25. We will leave the church promptly at 8:45, and we will return to the school by 12:00 noon. For this field trip, please send your child in tennis shoes. See you in the morning!

Five Senses Stations

Parents,
We had an awesome week learning about our five senses! Today we did "five senses stations." We had a "sight" station where we looked at the objects we found on our nature walk Monday, a "hearing" station where we played with all the fun toys our friends brought in to share, a "feeling" station where we played with a mystery box, and a "tasting" station where we got to enjoy our Friday Fun Snack. Thank you so much to Mackinzie and her family for the Jell-O and Seven and his family for the chips and dip. Have a great weekend!

Mixing Colors

We read Mouse Paint and learned to mix colors like the mice in the book. We learned that red, blue and yellow are the primary colors. We also learned that orange, purple and green are the secondary colors. We loved painting!

Bright Sunshine-y Day

Funny, Friendly, Fabulous, FANCY Fives!

Hi parents!

I hope you're having a great day! Just wanted to share a picture of the funny, friendly, fabulous, FANCY five year olds. The kids asked if they could dress fancy tomorrow and I am perfectly okay with that. I have the bow ties that the boys made, but the girls took their crowns home. So, if they ask to dress fancy you are more than welcome to let them. We have library for related arts, and if you want to send a change of clothes, we can change before recess.
