We have been learning about our five senses in science.  We did a "taste test" to discover salty, sweet, sour and bitter foods.  Then, we graphed our favorite tastes.  

Most friends liked sweet or salty best.

Stuffed Animal Day

We celebrated filling up our class behavior grid by having a stuffed animal day!  The students were so excited to share their friends with us.  We even did some fun math with our stuffed animals like graphing, sorting, putting them in order from largest to smallest and counting.  Mrs. Thompson and Mrs. Glenn are so proud of the Giddy Up Gang and their ready, responsible, and respectful behavior!

Our First Week

We have had a great start to our 2012 school year!  The Giddy Up Gang is having so much fun getting to know each other and practicing procedures.  Here is a pictures of all of our friends.

Getting Ready

It's that time of year!!  Teachers are busy getting classrooms set up.  I have been in my room since August 1st getting ready for my sweet kindergarten class.  I can't wait to meet them.  Mrs. Thompson and I are so excited about our first year at Pee Dee.  Here are some  pictures of what we've done so far.  We still have a way to go but it's coming together.  We are a brand new class so we started with a clean slate.  If you have any cowboy ideas let me know.

Farmer Day

Cows came to our school!

The kids voted on which cow they liked the best - the brown cow or the black and white cow.
We had so much fun dressing up as farmers!
